“As an NHS midwife, spending everyday supporting other women and their partners through the biggest life changing experience is magical but it has definitely made me more conscious of my image and working in such a busy environment doesn’t lend itself well to always re-touching ones make-up.
I have always wanted to have perfect brows but after years of over plucking them, an eyebrow pencil subsequently became my best friend. I couldn’t leave the house without my eyebrows on, even if I were to pop to the local shops, my eyebrows needed to look perfect, regardless of the time I would spend on application. Being able to go to work and feel good about my appearance, makes me feel confident about my ability to do a great job.
In 2014 I had the pleasure of meeting a heavily pregnant South African lady called Geraldine, who at the time was looking forward to having twin girls. I was her midwife and we have been great friends ever since.
During Spring last year, I decided that the pencil had to finally go and I needed to get my eyebrows permanently tattooed. Despite our friendship Geraldine was incredibly professional with me from start to finish. She made sure that the look I wanted, suited the shape of my face and the rest of my features and I really valued her expertise.
Having my eyebrow treatment has changed my whole life. I feel so confident when I look in the mirror now and it’s great not worry about how my eyebrows look when talking to colleagues or patients.”
“I have recommended Geraldine to so many people and will continue to do so. She is not only an expert in her field but a really lovely, genuine person!” - Natalie
